Free In-Home Services for At-Risk Youth

Odyssey House currently has 12 scholarship slots to provide an effective, in-home intervention to adolescents who are at-risk of engaging in substance abuse, criminal behavior, and/or gangs. Please read below for information or you may click here to apply for the scholarship.

Warning Signs:

  • Running away from home
  • Isolating from family
  • New set of friends
  • Odd behaviors
  • Drop in grades
  • Pulling away from usual hobbies or interests
  • Change in clothing style / gang colors
  • Possession of cash, weapons, or drug paraphernalia

Requirements for the scholarship program:

  • Household income within 130% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines

Adolescent In-Home Services Program basics:

  • 12-week curriculum
  • Weekly family and individual therapy interventions in the home
  • 24/7 access to a licensed mental health therapist by phone
  • Hands-on parenting skills training specifically around raising a teenager
  • Referrals to other community resources to help strengthen the family
  • Available in English or Spanish
