Understanding your needs...
We know how difficult and emotionally straining dealing with addiction yourself or finding out that a loved one is addicted to drugs can be. We want to be a resource for you so we have created different ways you can contact our admissions department. Our Admissions Counselors have been working in the field for years and can truly help point you in the right direction of services that may be a good fit for you because, like many things in life, there is not one solution that is the best fit for everyone. We understand that you need someone to listen and help you find solutions - we are here for you.
Affordable solutions grounded in evidence and success...
Nearly 40 years ago, our program was developed to offer affordable treatment solutions that work. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and we are employed by exceptional staff who work here because they care about client struggles and are intrinsically motivated to help people - many of us have been in your same shoes whether you are struggling from addiction yourself or if you are a loved one watching someone go through addiction. We are able to keep overhead low which results in affordable treatment.
If you haven't already, please feel free to navigate the various treatment offerings that we have for nearly every age group. You may scroll over the headings at the top of the website and select the program that seems to fit your needs. If you need help determining those needs, again, feel free to contact us and we can do an initial evaluation over the phone or, if you would like, you may meet with one of our Masters level therapists to conduct a complete substance abuse and mental health assessment to ensure that you or your loved one get the correct level of care. All of our programs are time-tested and are constantly adapting to incorporate the latest, cutting-edge evidence-based practices to ensure that the best treatment is provided to you or your loved one.
At Odyssey House, our program phases are aligned with evidence-based ASAM Placement Criteria that is reviewed regularly to ensure that our clients get the correct level of care for the right amount of time. With our alignment with ASAM, we can ensure that a client will continue receiving support and services only as long as necessary - never a day too short and never a day too long. We want to make sure that treatment is necessary at every step.
And once a client completes our program successfully... they have free aftercare services for life. We know that lifelong support is important and we strive to be a resource for as long as we are needed in a client's and their family's lives.
Our Admissions Process...
If we have an opening, we can admit a client into our services as soon as the same day depending on the client's individual circumstances.
The first step is to contact us via one of the options below. Once you have contacted us about your own addiction or a loved one you are concerned about, we will provide an evaluation free of charge for the client to ensure we are the best fit. All information submitted online or exchanged over the phone is completely confidential. After our initial conversation, we will schedule an appointment to meet at our office unless another location seems to work better. You and/or your loved one may come tour the program in which you are interested so that you may feel comfortable with your decision. Once your decision has been made to enroll yourself or a loved one in one of our programs, we can either email the admissions paperwork to you or meet in person. Once the paperwork is complete, we may move forward with the admission and begin the Journey of Healing...
Financial resources...
We accept insurance for most of our programs as well as private pay. We also have various contracts with the State and County governments that you might be able to access, effectively making treatment free to you. Due to generous donors, we do have a scholarship fund that might be accessible for you or your loved one depending on availability of funds.
We know that, even though we provide services that are often the lowest cost around, treatment is not something for which people plan financially. We do not want the lack of available finances to bar someone from getting the help that they need so we have partnered with Lifestyle Lending Solutions to help individuals finance their treatment cost at reasonable rates.
