The Taskforce comprises various staff members who work together to address the needs of employees and clients in inclusivity. It's a process that sees involvement in discussions, planning, and taking action.

Neurodiversity Awareness Month 2025

In April we recognize Neurodiversity Awareness Month!

It's a time to celebrate the vast range of ways our brains function and process the world. Neurodiversity refers to the natural variations in human cognition, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other neurological differences. Rather than viewing these differences as deficits, the neurodiversity movement — coined by sociologist Judy Singer in the late 1990s — advocates for recognizing and valuing diverse minds in education, workplaces, and society.

Awareness efforts first gained momentum through the early 2000s as organizations and advocates pushed for inclusion, accessibility, and equity. Today, this month serves as a reminder of the strengths neurodivergent individuals bring and the importance of creating environments where all ways of thinking are supported and celebrated.
